The process of milling rice be done in 3 levels at 0,5mm to 1,5mm by Shatake machine. At level 1mm, the rate of intact embryo rice is 69,73% and the rate of seed germination of OM5451, OM6979 and OM1532 are from 96,72 – 97,44%. Abstract

This paper examines the values of modern Vietnamese society from a systematic sociological perspective. The results show that Vietnamese society is in a process of forming a new value system with three opposing tendencies: (1) the value of unsustainable modern industrial society, (2) negative aspects of the strong old remaining values, and (3) declines in some of the core traditional values. The weakness of modern values in the integration phase has caused a crisis in values in Vietnam, manifesting as deviations in economic, political, legal, and economic relations. One of the underlying causes of this crisis is that the social institutions, especially in politics and legislation, have not yet functioned well in targeting and social connections.

Abstract

Minimizing production inputs to maximize profitability in agricultural production is a concern of farmers. This study aims to determine the optimal input level to minimize the cost of coffee production in Lam Ha district, Lam Dong province. Multiple regression and constraint optimization method are used to estimate the impact of production inputs on coffee yield and to determine the optimal levels of inputs used. Research results show that coffee yield is influenced by chemical fertilizers, organic fertilizers, pesticides, labor, farm sizes, irrigation water and year of coffee tree plantation. In addition, the optimum input level used in 1 hectare of coffee to achieve a minimum production cost is of 1470 kg of chemical fertilizers, 20.75 liters of plant protection chemicals and 130 labors. The results also show that, current uses of chemical fertilizers, pesticides and labor are resepectively higher than the optimal levels 334 kg/ha, 9.03 liters/ha and 26 labor/ha, resulting an increase of 8.74 million VND in coffee production cost.
