AIM - SCOPE
The Journal of Science Van Hien University is the official and sole scientific publication of Van Hien University, licensed to operate from August 13, 2013, by the Ministry of Information and Communications under license number 315/GP-BTTTT. Its objectives are to publish research results from staff, lecturers, and students related to the university's training fields; to introduce scientific research achievements from both domestic and international sources relevant to Van Hien University's training areas; and to create a forum for scientists inside and outside the university to present academic viewpoints and scientific research works that contribute to promoting socio-economic development.
The Journal of Science Van Hien University is published periodically with 04 issues per year starting from November 2013, with the international standard serial number ISSN 1859-2961. In 2016, the journal was licensed to publish an additional English edition under license number 544/GP-BTTT dated December 5, 2016. In 2017, the first English issue was published and released on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Van Hien University's establishment. At the same time, the journal had 03 fields listed in the journals eligible for scientific work conversion points: Literature (0.5), Economics (0.25), and the interdisciplinary field of Culture - Arts - Physical Education - Sports - Tourism (0.5). In 2021, the Education field was added with 0.25 points, increasing the total to 4 fields in the list of journals eligible for scientific work points, including 2 fields with increased points: Literature (0.75) and Economics (0.5).
After 9 years of operation, the Journal of Science Van Hien University has made its own mark with nearly 400 articles (30 issues) that are scientific, rich, and diverse across many fields: Economics, Literature, Psychology, Culture, Information Technology, Arts, Agriculture, Food Technology... The journal is widely distributed to universities, colleges, institutes, research centers, as well as readers throughout the country. In 2022, online journal publishing software (Open Journal System – OJS) was used, which also serves as a preparation step for regional integration.
