Abstract

The literary reading styles of readers in Saigon and Cochinchine There has been a lot of discussion about writing styles in our literary societies. How about reading styles, and how is this concept defined? The present paper begins with a confirmation of the existence of literary reading styles, a definition for this concept, and a description of its representations and origination. Subsequently, the reading styles of readers in Saigon and Cochinchine, Vietnam throughout the history are presented, analyzed and explained. This work is a constitution of the author's personal observations and specific proposals, which are accumulated from long-term experience of literary studies, teaching and research.
